Opening to Opportunity

It has been about 5 years since I have written or published anything on my website but I have kept it open and active for when I knew I would. I discarded the idea of “Starting Over” long ago as I see it more of a misnomer. We never truly end anything and it is impossible to start from a place we were before or to erase what has come into our minds and lives in between start dates. It all just continues. We find our way through the current and depending on our personalities, we fight our way upstream or we surrender downstream and learn to trust the natural order of possibilities and growth.

Every objection that arises to that statement is an opinion and judgement that may very well be anchored in true experiences. But in a universe where we all have unique intentions to grow, evolve and create; we have divine agency over our own life that guides us toward or away the decisions and opinions of others.

If you gave up criticizing yourself or others, how much more free time would you have? What would you want to have fill up that newly opened up space within yourself? What ideas have been delayed that could now continue its evolution into action?

“Starting” implies there is an ending and feeds attachment to the outcome. Being open to the opportunities of the present moment means anything is possible and allows for the natural ebb and flow of energy and inspiration.

Gemini Season encourages our curiosity within our mental and physical worlds and teaches us that not everything deserves or needs an enhanced focus. If it exists in our world, it belongs. If it isn’t compatible with *your* life, move on, keep going and be open to the infinite possibilities of connection that exists everywhere. There is no lack of potential but if you have a belief that there is – it will be present and true for you anytime you want to start anything. Release it and the next moment is yours: to be inspired, to be open, to be free, to be clear and connected with what is right and true within you.

As we head into Cancer Season, we will be encouraged to take that openness and curiosity and infuse it with the active practice of compassion. Allowing yourself to nurture the space within you and outside of you and believing that you are allowed to take up your own space. Allowing for others to take up their own space and embracing the fact that there is enough space for everybody and everything. We have divine agency to live and create our own authentic life, focus our mental and emotional energy and be open to the infinite opportunities around us to heal, grow and enjoy the moments where anything is possible.
